Arnold Stroobach – Chief Executive Officer of Neighbourhood Care

Arnold is our CEO, he grew up in the Netherlands near Amsterdam. He studied medical informatics in Amsterdam and did his MBA in Utrecht. He is married to Joska and they have two grown daughters. Arnold and family moved  to Perth in 2005.

He was the CEO of Technology Parks in Australia from 2005 to 2014 and during that time he was involved in many (bio) medical and innovative healthcare companies. In 2011, Arnold was one of the co-founders of Spacecubed, now the largest co-working and innovation space in Perth. From 2008 to 2018, he was in addition to his normal job, the Honorary Consul of the Netherlands to WA and supported economic development, cooperation between universities and the mutual cultural heritage of both countries.

In 2017, Brett and Arnold joined forces to start Future Proof Australia. He says: “Since October 2017 we have become involved with Buurtzorg after a visit to the Netherlands and in March 2018 Future Proof became the official representative of Buurtzorg in Australia.” His passion is innovation and creating new businesses, especially in the field of social innovation, where he can combine it with his medical background.
